När min krönika blev publicerad på Shortcut

Som ni har märkt älskar jag att skriva. Det är något med att formulera meningar, och sätta dem i en kontext, som verkligen tilltalar mig. Att medverka i tidningar är heller inget som är främmande för mig. Jag har medverkat i både Metro, DN och i Saco utbildningsbilaga för Sacomässan. Jag har dock aldrig fått något jag har skrivit publicerat. Visst, man kan räkna att jag blir publicerad på Lundastudent och Saco Väljayrkebloggen, men där styr jag vad jag publicerar själv. Igår ändrades dock det hela. Jag blev nämligen publicerad ”på riktigt” på Shortcut med min krönika ”När vårkänslorna når ingenjörsstudenterna”.

Längst ner på sidan

Det hela började med att låg i min säng och läste förra numret utav Campus/Shortcut. I varje nummer brukar de ha med en studentkrönika som alltid är väldigt välskriven. Jag har dock inte tidigare lagt märke till vad det har stått längst ner på sidan där krönikan är skriven. Det blev därför en glad överraskning när jag såg att de på Shortcut sökte efter en student som ville skriva en krönika om vårkänslor till nästa utgåva av Campus/Shortcut.

Min hjärna började mer eller mindre arbeta ihop en krönika där och då. Jag bestämde för mig själv att jag skulle bli publicerad. Jag gjorde därför mitt absoluta bästa för att skriva en så bra krönika om vårkänslor som möjligt.

Vårkänslor visar sig annorlunda för ingenjörsstudenter

Traditionellt sätt tänker folk på vårkänslor som något positivt där kärleken spirar och alla blir glada. Jag tänkte därför att risken för att om jag skulle skriva på samma tema att min krönika då bara skulle bli en del i mängden. Jag valde därför att vända på det hela och skriva om hur vårkänslorna visar sig för en ingenjörsstudent som skriver på sitt examensarbete. De positiva vårkänslorna som andra har har bytts ut hos ingenjörsstudenterna mot ångest, rädsla och oro. Dock slutar krönikan inte på ett negativt sätt som får läsaren att bli deprimerad. Jag avslutar istället krönikan med en positiv och inspirerande twist. Något ni helt enkelt får läsa i krönikan.

Att bli publicerad har gett mig mersmak

Att skriva en krönika är inte riktigt något jag har gjort förut. Jag har bara skrivit en krönika innan, och det var på gymnasiet när jag läste en kurs i journalistik. Att skriva en krönika är dock något jag nu har fått mersmak av, och att dessutom bli publicerad gjorde det hela så mycket bättre.
