Våga gå utanför din comfortzone!

Under hela läsperioden har min lärare i Industriell ekonomi sagt att vi ska få gå på en föreläsning med två gästföreläsare som hon hade som elever för några år sedan. Två elever som nu har företag värderade till sisådär 300 miljoner kronor. Inget märkvärdigt alltså… Hur som helst var de och föreläste för oss idag för att få oss att starta egna företag.

Bland det första de sa att de hoppade av skolan efter två respektive tre år. Det kändes lite konstigt, men när de sedan fortsatte förklara blev det hela väldigt logiskt. Redan när de började studera på LTH behövde de inte ta några studielån eftersom de redan hade jobbat ihop tillräckligt mycket pengar för att slippa det. När de sedan hade gått några år och gått Industriell ekonomikurserna med Mona (min lärare), vilket de förklarade var den absolut bästa kurserna de hade gått och har mest användning för nu, ville de istället satsa på att starta företag. De ansåg att de hade fått tillräckligt mycket kunskap från skolan att de inte behövde gå kvar. Något de uppenbarligen gjorde helt rätt i.

De fortsätta sedan förklara att man bara ska göra. Inte tänka så mycket på vad som kan gå fel och komma med massa bortförklaringar. Bara göra, och sedan gjorde de något som jag känner faktiskt kommer förändra mitt liv. Jag vet inte hur mycket, men det kommer att påverka hur jag lever. Det vet jag. Det de gjorde var att de höll upp en bok och sa att den här måste alla som vill starta ett företag läsa, och frågade sedan om någon ville ha den. De flesta räckte upp handen och sa att de ville ha den, men de gav inte boken till någon. Till slut gick en kille fram hoppade upp, tog boken och gick och satte sig igen. I föreläsningssalen satt det nu runt 200 stycken snopna studenter och undrade vad som just hände. Då frågade föreläsarna varför det inte var någon annan som gick fram och tog boken. Vad var det som hindrade oss? Varför vågade vi inte? Hade de sagt att man inte fick göra det? det var inget som hindrade oss från att faktiskt göra det, men ingen gjorde det.

Det var då de fick mig att inse hur styrd jag egentligen är av ett invant mönster. Ett beteende som man har fått lära sig från barnsben. Man ska sitta kvar snällt, räcka upp handen och inte sticka ut för mycket. Och hur mycket missar man inte här i livet bara för att man inte vågar egentligen? Det är dagligen jag skulle ha velat göra saker men inte gör dem bara för ”att man brukar inte göra så”. Vem är det som bestämmer det egentligen? För att killen vågade gå fram och ta boken fick han den också, medan vi andra som också ville ha boken bara satt kvar och gjorde så som vi har fått lära oss att vi ska göra. Vem var det som förlorade? Inte var det killen med boken i alla fall…

Utifrån det ska jag nu börja se på saker annorlunda. Jag ska inte fastna i den svenska lagomnormen. Jag ska våga göra det jag vill göra och inte tänka så mycket på vad som kan gå fel. Det fick jag bevis på idag att man har mer att förlora av att inte våga än att faktiskt våga. Jag ska helt enkelt våga mera. Bara göra helt enkelt.
